I don't know what I should say about this series because I don't if I love it or hate it.😅 But one thing for sure that is I can read it forever! Kind of addicted to it. The story if so f**ked up and awesome. Always makes my heart go crazy. The characters are total shit but I love them. I read every single chapter as soon as it is released.

I don't know what this author is thinking making the story so long and over-dramatize. And there's

Rui breaking up her relationship crap.
TBH I almost drop this series but stayed patience just for the ending. Good series nonetheless. But I can't stay level headed with current story development. Maybe this is what the author want.

I was hooked up on this series after reading the first 3 chapters. The story is light and interesting, the characters are lovable and the art is great. I would recommend it to any Romance fan.

However starting from around chapter 192 it started going downhill. The author crashed everything ignoring the foundations she has built for the main characters so far.

I'm not sure why SASUGA Kei felt the need to add the overused "Long Distance Relationship" & "Lets Break up since we are hurting each other" crap, is this a trend in Japan? Not to mention dragging things till chapter 215 and ending it with such a lame break up, "Lets go back to being family"! Seeing how a couple would overcome their life challenges is more interesting than seeing them give up halfway for no good reason. Imho, Rui was the main strong point of this story but the author decided to destroy this character with a lame and overused excuse.
I'm rather disappointed. Having read GE, it is obvious where the author is going with this. I hope she decides to take a new direction and not do the same as she did in GE.

When i got to see the pop up notification of chapter updates of this manga my heart wouldn't stop beating so fast.. because of this ultimate drama genre I hate.. this is the only drama genre I've reading cause i cant take the so much emotion.. the reason i read this because of the harem comedy genre not expecting the so much emotion if you read enough.. suggested to those who can handle hard emotion and not suggested for weak in emotion.. cause this will drive you crazy!! Just like me

When fanservice exceeds

I began to read this manga after having read "Good Ending", that I enjoied, even if the final is a bit weak.

Here the art is very good and the story interesting, at least to the resolution of the triangle Hina-Natsuo-Rui.

I just read Vol.17 and decided that my patience is over. So many female side characters eager to grab Natsuo and then forgot by thea author just after thieri main scene is over...
Moreover, even in a chapter with interesting relation between the characters, fanservice or better said explicit sex scene are everywhere, with really no impact on the story.

In my opinion the author has lost control of the story, hence the abuse of fanservice and more.

Goodbye Rui and Natsuo, I liked you a lot

Strange Happenings

I think that all may agree that the Artwork is excellent. Lines are clean and realistic, even if story may, to some, not appear so. I think that the artwork enhances the story well enough that the familiar tropes (and there are many) seem fresh and well thought out. In other words, its a good blend of art and story.

That being said, while growing up, I did have experience of a similar bent between two sisters so its not completely out of the realm of possibility. Thank goodness I did not have the added complication of them becoming part of the family. Indeed, those two were crazy. I barely escaped with my life and parts intact.

True, the lead seems to be a bit of slave to his libido yet, frankly, what male is not at that age?

Unnecessary drama

In a way it's endearing. I don't think anyone going into this type of manga did not expect drama to happen. Knowing Good Ending I expected to be pissed reading this. Perhaps it is because I was able to read 145 chapters without waiting but I have to say aside from a bit of pacing in some middle chapters I really love this series. It is honestly pretty light as far as the genre goes. The mc is likable enough aside from being a bit wishy-washy, side characters are interesting, and honestly although unnecessary I feel the events that cause the drama are natural enough that makes this so outstanding. I was really pissed off with Good Ending and dropped it halfway(read a summary though) but I am glad I gave the mangaka another chance with this.

Suffering Manga

120 Chapters into the manga, I have to reiterate the advice that was already given here. Do not read this until it is completed. Then read the first few chapters and verify which girl you want the MC to end up with versus which one he will end up with. Because it it's not the heroine you prefer, you will curse your life... Oh, and be prepared for an overload of drama. It has really way too much drama.

That being said, IMO, the author is currently killing this manga. Compared to Good Ending it really hurts to read. Either the author has no clue where she wants to end it or she is just stretching things out for commercial purposes. 100 Chapters into the manga, new characters are suddenly introduced with little visible purpose. Sub plots appear and disappear like gusts of wind. It's really annoying.

Also, I still do not understand why one of the two main heroines was lost half way through the story. It's like the author isn't even giving her a chance... it's not very fair, it's like she was useful to the MC and then just vanished. She has occasionally re-appeared but... (This may be a karma thing, a kind of punishment but... well... idk... but it's also really annoying.)

Other then that, I think everything was already said in the comments. It's very predictable, has all of the possible cliches in the genre, including absolute stupidity and total inability to control emotions and think things through. It has a light, sub theme of karma / sin / punishment but it's extremely weak and imo, very badly done.

But I still find it enjoyable in a recreational kind of way.

My advice to anyone reading this for romance is to read the first 10 or so chapters, decide who you want him to end up with, and check back when it's complete. If it's with the girl you wanted, perhaps go back and read it, but don't waste too much time on it.

This is like the drama of Good Ending except 10 times as much. If you like cringe-worthy relationship drama and people making very stupid decisions - this is your manga.

Good art and Rui makes this tolerable

If you're looking for depth, you're looking in the wrong place. This has to be one of the most by-the-numbers romance plots I've seen in a very long time. Nearly every plot point is easily seen 10 chapters beforehand. There is little substance other than the character's relationships, which, because it's so predictable, gets tiresome pretty fast (along with the ecchi segments). Almost everyone can solely be defined by who they like, with very few qualities past that. It was quite frustrating having an arc dedicated to lecturing the MC on how hard writing a story is when the writing presented is so flat.

As the header illustrates, however, it does have a few good points. Every character is distinct and has a range of emotions presented, which makes them feel less like the cut-outs that they really are. Both of the main lead heroines are flawed, but Rui is at least enjoyable to be around. Still, I would not recommend reading this unless you are quite bored or enjoy soap operas.
